Edvard Munch was a Norwegian painter, a great influencer on the German Expressionism and modern art. He had a lot of psychological and emotional problems along his life, which were his main reason to unburden all those feelings and sensations to his paintings. He found comfort on his paintings.

One of his most well-known works is The Scream of 1893. Actually, he has three versions of it, The Scream it's located on a bridge near the place he lived, it was a bridge where a lot of people committed suicide, he used to walk around there. One time he was with some friends when he had a nervous breakdown, so on his attempt to record this memory it was created The Scream.

There was a time when he only painted at night and he often painted himself as a victim of women, because that's how he sees himself, with a lot of guilt and regret as well. He lost his mom and his sister very young so he had these complex feelings towards women.

It's outline is quite aggressive which gives that "blur" sensation on his paintings.

Munch teach us that beautiful things and perfection are overrated, as long as you express yourself with honesty you can create amazing things.
